Since 2021, the entrance ticket to Machu Picchu has been utilized differently. The new visiting rules for Machu Picchu in 2024 introduce five distinct circuits for exploring the Inca site. The park administration has implemented these measures to enhance the visitor experience through these four different circuits.
These five circuits are designed to ensure the preservation and sustainability of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. They are governed by the ‘Regulation on Sustainable Use and Tourist Visits for the Conservation of Llacta Machu Picchu.’
